After the Shins, Foo Fighters (with Roger Waters), and MGMT rocked out Pink Floyd covers on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week, Dierks Bentley brought the country to last night’s Pink Floyd Week installment. He appeared on the show for a fiddle-and-steel “Wish You Were Here.”

Bentley doesn’t bring anything dramatically new to the song, but the down-home instrumentation highlights a different side of that beautiful melody. We don’t normally pay much attention to mainstream Nashville country (except when Taylor Swift pulls out an unexpectedly great Mumford and Sons cover), but Bentley delivers a solid performance.
