Self-proclaimed synthpopsensation Shindu continues the trend of pumping disco sounds coming from Belgium. Shindu is made up of 2 DJs, Christopher D’Have and Maxime Abbenbroek aka Static & Greedy, who have joined forces with the vocals of Tine Vanwijnsberghe, aka Chibi.

Just in time for summer, Shindu have taken ’80s new wave sensation Siouxsie and the Banshees‘ “Happy House” and created a bright and shiny interpretation. With steel drums and synth-pop sounds, Shindu turns the somewhat sarcastic and cynical tone of Siouxsie’s original into a celebratory dance track. Along with the release comes a wacky music video showing what fun Shindu is having in their “Happy House.” Watch it below, and get ready to dance.
