Ok, there may be one or two of you out there who didn’t see that we posted a cover of every single Bob Dylan song last week to celebrate the great man’s 70th birthday. While you still slowly work your way through the tunes (279 in total), artists continue to crank out more Dylan covers, hoping to catch your attention.

Brooklyn’s Friend Factory, made up of the Minneapolis-born, Brooklyn-based musician Michael Dillenberger, recorded a version of “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll” for the special occasion. Dillenberger starts the tune simply, with just a strummed acoustic accompaniment, but quickly builds a bombastic arrangement, leading to an ear-shredding guitar solo. Check out the track below.
