The Knocks, like many other too-hot-to-handle producers, are a duo moving up in the world and adding ‘being in a band’ to their already impressive resume. The Lower East Side duo have done everything from lending their club-ready beats to majors such as Rihanna to remixing the likes of Passion Pit and Katy Perry. Luckily for your workout playlist, they have now moved to the realm of Motown covers with the Temptations’ “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.”

The duo doesn’t sway too far from the ‘Motown Sound’ that makes the original such a feel-good hit. The vocals are spot-on and the beat still induces toe-tapping, shimmying, and synchronized snapping. There are small hints of dreamy synthpop and reverb vocals that add this cover to the already extensive list of dance floor-ready songs on The Knocks’ hit list. Check it out below.
