The blogosphere exploded a couple of weeks ago with the release of Radiohead‘s latest album, King of Limbs. Almost immediately on release, insta-reviews popped up everywhere with people boasting how many times they’ve already listened to the album. Robotonists even covered the full album within 24 hours!

Oakland-based Grand Lake skip all that, digging into Radiohead’s rather significant back catalogue. For their new album Leaves Ellipse, they covered OK Computer‘s “The Tourist.” They make the original sound direct and dense, slowing the languid track down even further and providing a sparse echo-laden instrumental backing. The Fleet Foxes-style harmonies provide a nice touch as well. Thom Yorke and the boys must be proud. Listen below.
