Last month we declared “We Used to Wait” the song-to-cover off the Arcade Fire’s new album The Suburbs. With only two covers of the song actually out though, some could have accused of us being premature. Premature…or prescient. Now a third Suburbs cover has dropped and you’ll never guess what song it is!

Yep, the snail-mail-nostalgia of “We Used to Wait” is back with the highest-profile rendition yet. Mark Ronson and the Business Intl stopped by Live Lounge to debut their take on Win Butler and co’s “when I was your age”-type anthem. The xylophone adds a terrific punch to the poppy jam.

“It’s just a song that we all love,” Ronson told host Jo Whiley. “We’ve been listening to this record since it came out, crying each other to sleep as it plays in the background.”

Download Ronson’s version below. Compare it to the Drums’ and Clare Burson’s covers here.
