  4. “Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me” (wondering whether this giveaway is also valid for Germany …)

  5. Definitely “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out”! Thanks for the chance to win this!

  6. Not on this one, strangely, but my favourite is ‘This Charming Man’. Best…intro…ever

  7. my favourite Smiths song is Girlfriend In A Coma, and I don’t think I’ve EVER heard a cover of one of their songs that ever made me think “that was a great version”. Hope prings eternal!

  8. Against my self, I kinda find myself liking t.a.t.u.’s cover of “How Soon is Now” – at least it’s ten times better than those godawful whiny American numetal-postgrunge-shite covers of same song. Not everyone can pulloff that feat without sounding like a whiney teenage brat….

  9. I’ll try to not pick the obvious and go with Bigmouth Strikes Again

  10. I like Asleep. :)

  11. This charming man tops it for me. For smiths covers I usually consult The Ukrainians for excellent versions.

  12. Oh and my wife and I danced to Girlfriend in a coma at our wedding. The inlaws were confused.

  13. Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now – 12″ version sounded amazing, especially on the second verse when the extra guitars come in!

  14. Favorite song is definitely Girlfriend in a Coma, so I’m stoked to see it on this CD!

  15. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out….I love it and all covers of it. One day I literally listened to nothing but that ALL DAY and I still loved it at the end.

  16. my favorite song? WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKES? And i need this cd also for the beautiful cover: i got married Saturday!

  17. Favorite song: Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now

  18. The Smiths should be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Favorite song: “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.” I’m glad no one chose “How Soon Is Now” for this collection.

  19. PAINT A VULGAR PICTURE! followed very closely by You Just Havent Earned It Yet, Baby

  20. Some girls are better than others

  21. this charming man

  22. I love the drastic changes in “Miserable Lie”.

  23. Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want. And that’s my favorite Smiths song, too.

  24. ask. “if it’s not love, then it’s the bomb that will keep us together.”
